Today’s Daily Letter was prompted by the experience of having to navigate getting care for my relentless eye infection in our dramatically altered health care system. I’m on the mend and happy to resume at a different – and more effective – pace.
Come join us for our community call on Friday if finding your optimal pace appeals to you. Details are below.
There’s a different pace right now.
Conventional common sense dictates there’s a crisis happening and we should be working harder and harder to rescue, retain, and grow.
While there’s some truth to this, as in all common sense, it does not apply to all equally.
If you’ve spent the better part of the last decade swanning about while your business survived in spite of you, please stop reading this right now and get to work.
If your default position, is relentless – listen up, because this one’s for you.
Relentlessness can be a superpower. But it can also become your kryptonite. You can be relentless to the wrong things. Now, more than ever, it’s time to learn this difference.
There’s a different pace we are not accustomed to yet. It’s a slower beat that requires patience for the long game and infinitely more discernment. The sooner we find it the rhythm of it, and apply our relentlessness correctly, the better off we’ll all be.
